The extension fully follows the necessary Google Schema.org metadata and outputs rich results to search engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activating the Product Reviews Extension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The extension can be easily activated from the <strong>Blocksy Dashboard -&gt; Extensions -&gt; Free Extensions -&gt; Product Reviews<\/strong>. If you already know how to use the Gutenberg editor, you will feel right at home. The magic comes with the Blocksy additions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay loop muted preload=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/creativethemes.com\/blocksy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Screen-Recording-2021-11-10-at-17.22.13.mov\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Blocksy Additions for Product Reviews<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blocksy&#8217;s Additions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the bottom of each edit page of a Product Review, you will find two tabs that let you control various aspects of the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Tab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the General tab, you will find the most common content creation tools for the Product Reviews post type. Here&#8217;s what each of them do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Review Entity<\/strong> &#8211; this lets you set the type of review. Books, Movies, Games are a sample of what you can choose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gallery<\/strong> &#8211; lets you show photos of the reviewed product<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Affiliate Link &amp; Button Label<\/strong> &#8211; lets you set the product&#8217;s URL and button label (this will redirect your users to the linked website)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sponsored Attribute<\/strong> &#8211; adds <code>rel=sponsored<\/code> to the link. Useful for SEO purposes &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/search\/docs\/advanced\/guidelines\/qualify-outbound-links\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">more information here<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Read More<\/strong> &#8211; lets your visitors quickly jump to the full review further down the page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Short Description<\/strong> &#8211; just like with WooCommerce, reviews have the ability to display a quick summary of the full review, to quickly gather the reader&#8217;s attention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ratings Tab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ratings tab lets you easily display the review score, product specifications and the advantages and disadvantages that come with the product. These fields will be displayed in between the gallery and the full review text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Scores<\/strong> &#8211; this affects the rating of your review. You can add as many sub categories as you&#8217;d like<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Product Specs<\/strong> &#8211; lets you easily display the specifications of the product you&#8217;re reviewing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pros &amp; Cons <\/strong>&#8211; lets you easily display the advantages and disadvantages of the product you&#8217;re reviewing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced Functionality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Displaying Product Reviews Anywhere<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <code>blocksy_posts<\/code> shortcode can also be used to display a grid of your product reviews throughout your website. Its usage is super simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">blocksy_posts post_type=\"blc-product-review\"<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>This shortcode will output all Product Reviews on a page. Simply click on the Configure button and input the slug that you want.
