It includes purpose-built controls for review scores, specifications, pros and cons, galleries, affiliate links and supported review structured data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Review content can be created with the regular WordPress block editor, while Blocksy&#8217;s additional settings handle the information specific to each review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-palette-color-8-color has-palette-color-1-background-color has-text-color has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"is-style-info coblocks-alert-paragraph wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Extension status<\/strong><br>The Product Reviews extension is being deprecated. It remains available for existing websites, but it will not receive further updates or new features and is planned for removal in a future Blocksy release. For new projects where review functionality is an important part of the website, consider using a dedicated review solution instead.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Product Reviews can also output structured review information for supported entity types. Certain entity types can expose additional information relevant to that type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gallery<\/strong> \u2013 add a collection of images representing the item being reviewed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Affiliate Link &amp; Button Label<\/strong> \u2013 provide an external URL and customise the label of the button that directs visitors to it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sponsored Attribute<\/strong> \u2013 add <code>rel=\"sponsored\"<\/code> to the external link when appropriate. See Google&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/search\/docs\/crawling-indexing\/qualify-outbound-links\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\">guidance for qualifying outbound links<\/a> for more information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Read More<\/strong> \u2013 provide visitors with a shortcut that moves directly to the full review content further down the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Short Description<\/strong> \u2013 add a concise summary of the reviewed item before the complete review content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ratings Tab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ratings tab controls the scoring and additional structured information shown as part of the review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Scores<\/strong> \u2013 add individual rating criteria that contribute to the review&#8217;s displayed score. Multiple criteria can be added when you want to evaluate different aspects of the item separately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Product Specs<\/strong> \u2013 create a structured list of specifications or important characteristics of the reviewed item.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pros &amp; Cons<\/strong> \u2013 highlight the main advantages and disadvantages identified during the review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These sections are displayed alongside the review content to give readers a quick overview before or while reading the complete article.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced Functionality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Displaying Product Reviews Anywhere<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <code>blocksy_posts<\/code> shortcode can be used to display Product Reviews in other shortcode-compatible areas of the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>&#091; blocksy_posts post_type=\"blc-product-review\" ]<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This example queries the <strong>Product Reviews<\/strong> post type. You can replace it with a different value from the Product Reviews extension configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open <strong>WordPress Dashboard \u2192 Blocksy \u2192 Extensions<\/strong>, locate <strong>Product Reviews<\/strong> and select its configuration options.
