The Languages<\/strong> element adds a language switcher to your website’s header, allowing visitors to move between the translated versions of your content provided by a compatible multilingual plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The element integrates with popular multilingual solutions including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • WPML<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Polylang<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • TranslatePress<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Once a supported multilingual plugin is configured, open the Customiser \u2192 Header<\/strong>, drag the Languages<\/strong> element into the desired header row or supported area, and select it to configure its appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Style<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Choose how the available languages are presented in the header:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Inline<\/strong> – displays the available languages alongside one another.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Dropdown<\/strong> – keeps the selector compact and reveals the available languages from a dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Display & Label Style<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Control which information is used to represent each language. You can display the language flag<\/strong>, its text label<\/strong>, or combine both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The label style can also be adjusted to use the full language name or a shorter language code, helping the selector fit comfortably into more compact header layouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Hide Current Language<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Enable Hide Current Language<\/strong> to remove the active language from the list of available choices. Visitors will then see only the other languages they can switch to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This can be particularly useful when the website uses only two languages or when you want to keep the language selector as compact as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Hide Missing Language<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Enable Hide Missing Language<\/strong> to automatically remove languages that do not have a translation available for the page currently being viewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
