Blocksy’s Visitor Engagement<\/strong> options provide built-in integrations for analytics, structured data and social sharing metadata. From one panel, you can connect Google Analytics, enable Blocksy’s Schema.org markup and control OpenGraph metadata for shared content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access these options, navigate to Customiser \u2192 General Options \u2192 Visitor Engagement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google Analytics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Blocksy can load Google Analytics directly without requiring a separate integration plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open your Google Analytics property and copy its Measurement ID<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to Customiser \u2192 General Options \u2192 Visitor Engagement<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter the ID into the Google Analytics<\/strong> field and publish your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Cookies Consent integration<\/strong>
    If Blocksy’s Cookies Consent<\/a> extension is active, Google Analytics configured through this panel will only run after the visitor accepts cookies. If consent is declined, the Analytics scripts remain inactive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Schema.org Markup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Enabling Schema.org Markup<\/strong> lets Blocksy output structured data for common areas of your website. This gives search engines additional context about the content and structure of each page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Blocksy provides structured data for areas such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Blog archives<\/strong> – identifies archive and post-listing content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Single posts and pages<\/strong> – provides structured information about individual pieces of content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Authors<\/strong> – describes relevant author information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Site-wide elements<\/strong> – provides context for areas such as navigation, headers, footers and sidebars.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Search results<\/strong> – identifies the site’s search results pages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Organisation information<\/strong> – provides supported details such as the site name and logo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Structured data helps search engines interpret your content, but enabling it does not by itself guarantee enhanced search results or higher rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      OpenGraph Meta Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The OpenGraph Meta Data<\/strong> option adds metadata that supported social networks, messaging applications and other services can use when generating link previews for your content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Depending on the page being shared, this can provide information such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Title and description<\/strong> – provides the primary text used by the shared preview.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Featured image<\/strong> – provides an appropriate image for supported shared-content previews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Page information<\/strong> – provides additional metadata that helps external services identify the shared content correctly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Avoid duplicate metadata<\/strong>
        If an SEO plugin or another integration already generates Schema.org or OpenGraph metadata for your website, avoid enabling overlapping functionality in multiple places. Duplicate markup can result in conflicting or redundant metadata.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
