The selected pattern remains editable, so its nested blocks can be rearranged, removed or extended after insertion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create Custom Layout<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select <strong>Create Custom Layout<\/strong> when you want to build the post card from an empty template. Depending on the post types registered on your website, this can include regular posts, pages and Custom Post Types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Post Count<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose how many entries are displayed at a time. When pagination is enabled, this value also determines the number of items shown on each page of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Slideshow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enable <strong>Slideshow<\/strong> to turn the post listing into a horizontal carousel instead of a regular grid or list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional slideshow controls let you configure navigation behaviour, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Navigation Arrows<\/strong> \u2013 show controls for manually moving between slides.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Navigation Pills<\/strong> \u2013 display pagination indicators for navigating between groups of slides.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Autoplay<\/strong> \u2013 automatically advance the slideshow and configure the interval between transitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"2056\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 3456 \/ 2056;\" width=\"3456\" controls muted src=\"https:\/\/creativethemes.com\/blocksy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Screen-Recording-2024-12-09-at-20.54.09.mov\" playsinline><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Displaying Advanced Posts as a slideshow.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pagination<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the query contains more content than the configured Post Count, pagination can be used to expose additional results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the selected configuration, the block can use traditional page navigation or dynamic loading behaviours such as loading additional results without rebuilding the complete page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Query Parameters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The block includes additional controls for refining which entries are returned and how they are ordered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Offset<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use <strong>Offset<\/strong> to skip a specified number of entries at the beginning of the query. This is useful when the first few posts are already being displayed elsewhere on the same page and should not be repeated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order &amp; Order By<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose the criteria used to sort the queried content and whether the resulting order is ascending or descending. Available criteria can include values such as publication date, title, author and other supported WordPress query properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sticky Posts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Control whether posts marked as <strong>Sticky<\/strong> receive their normal special treatment or are handled like regular entries in the query.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taxonomy Filtering<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refine the query using taxonomies associated with the selected post type. The blocks placed inside it define the structure that is repeated for every result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dynamic Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/creativethemes.com\/blocksy\/docs\/theme-blocks\/dynamic-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dynamic Data<\/strong><\/a> block can retrieve information from the post currently being rendered by the template, including its title, featured image, excerpt, author, date, taxonomy terms and other supported data sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can add multiple Dynamic Data blocks and configure each one for a different source, then rearrange or remove them like regular WordPress blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"2056\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 3456 \/ 2056;\" width=\"3456\" autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/creativethemes.com\/blocksy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Screen-Recording-2024-03-13-at-15.15.47.mov\" playsinline><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Rearranging Dynamic Data blocks inside the Post Template.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Content Blocks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <strong>Content Block<\/strong> can also be placed inside the Post Template when Blocksy Pro is active. This lets you reuse a separately designed Content Block as part of every rendered post card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This can be useful when a repeated section of the card is already maintained as a reusable Content Block or when you want to build more complex layouts without recreating the same structure inside every Advanced Posts instance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Grid &amp; List Layouts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Post Template can be displayed using either a <strong>Grid<\/strong> or <strong>List<\/strong> arrangement.
