It can use the accounts configured globally in Blocksy or be customised independently when a particular location needs a different set of links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This makes it useful for posts, pages, sidebars, Content Blocks and other block-based layouts where you want to provide direct access to your social channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-palette-color-8-color has-palette-color-1-background-color has-text-color has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"is-style-info coblocks-alert-paragraph wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Blocksy Companion required<\/strong><br>The Socials block becomes available after installing and activating <strong>Blocksy Companion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting Started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can configure your main social profiles centrally under <strong>Customiser \u2192 General Options \u2192 Social Network Accounts<\/strong>. The block can use profiles configured globally under <strong>Social Network Accounts<\/strong>, while individual entries can also be adjusted directly from the block when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This lets you maintain a shared set of social profiles across the website while still creating a different selection for a particular page or layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Link Controls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose whether social profile links open in a new browser tab and whether the <code>nofollow<\/code> relationship should be added to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use <code>nofollow<\/code> only when it is appropriate for the relationship between your website and the linked destination. It is not required simply because a link points to a social network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Icon Size &amp; Spacing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adjust the size of the social icons and the amount of space between them to fit the surrounding layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Icon Colors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose how Colors are applied to the social icons. You can use a consistent custom Color across all networks or allow individual icons to use the official Color associated with each service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Icon Shape<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Display the social icons on their own or place them inside one of the available shaped containers. Use this setting together with the Color controls to match the block with the rest of your design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Horizontal Alignment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Control the horizontal position of the Socials block within its available space.
