Blocksy lets you customise the appearance of category archive pages independently from your main blog archive. You can control the category title area, choose how posts are arranged, customise the post card design and decide which elements appear inside each card.
To access these options, navigate to Customiser → Categories.

Granular Controls
Page Title
The Page Title section controls the hero area displayed at the top of category archive pages.

Two title layouts are available:


The Elements controls determine which information appears inside the title area:
- Title – displays the category name.
- Excerpt – displays the category description when one has been provided.
- Breadcrumbs – displays the breadcrumb navigation trail when breadcrumbs are enabled.
Archive Structure
The structure controls determine how posts are arranged throughout category archive pages.

Five archive structures are available:





The accompanying Columns & Posts controls let you adjust the number of columns used by supported layouts and how many posts appear on each archive page.
Card Design
The Card Design controls the visual treatment of each post displayed inside the category archive.



Card Elements
The Card Elements section determines which pieces of information are displayed inside each post card.

Depending on your configuration, you can show or hide elements such as the featured image, post title, taxonomy information, excerpt and post metadata. Individual elements also expose their own design and visibility controls where applicable.
