The Compare View module from the Shop Extra extension in Blocksy Pro allows your customers to easily compare multiple products side by side. When browsing your store, visitors can add products to a comparison list and view them in a dedicated table that highlights all the important details – helping them make smarter purchasing decisions.
Activating the Module
To enable the Compare View module:
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to Blocksy → Extensions → Shop Extra.
- Find the Compare View module.
- Toggle it on to activate it.
Once enabled, a new Compare View panel will appear under Customiser → WooCommerce General, where you can configure its options.
Granular Controls
Placement
Decide how the comparison will be displayed:
- Page – Assigns a dedicated page of your choice to host the comparison table.
- Popup – Opens the comparison table in a modal pop-up above your content.
Table Fields
Choose which product fields are displayed in the comparison table. Standard details like product title, price, and images are available.
When displaying attributes, only global attributes are supported.
Compare Bar
Enable a Compare Bar at the bottom of the viewport to quickly showcase products in the comparison queue. The bar comes with customization options, including:
- Per-device visibility controls
- Adjustable bar height
- Custom action button icon
